As a result, aid organizations rushed to provide temporary shelter for those without a place to live. On Easter Sunday 2009, River City Church did the unthinkable and gave the offering back to the people with the charge to go and bless someone with the money. It has evolved into numerous random acts of kindness with no strings attached.
